Our Story

Our journey began in 1984, when Michele Cooper opened Eagle Pharmacy with a vision of delivering dependable, community-centered care. That foundation continues to guide everything we do today.

In 2016, the practice expanded its services with the purchase of Northwest Iowa Compounding in Emmetsburg, IA, allowing us to provide customized medications tailored to individual patient needs—an important step in advancing personalized care.

In 2021, Andrew Wagner purchased the pharmacy and continued building on its strong legacy while introducing new services and expanding its reach. As part of that growth, a long-term care license was added in early 2025, enabling us to better serve patients in assisted living and care facilities.

Later that year, in October 2025, the pharmacy entered a new chapter with the purchase of Elizabeth’s Pharmacy on Main in Britt, Iowa. With this transition, the business was proudly renamed Wagner Drug, reflecting both new leadership and a continued commitment to the community.

A New Era of Care

Looking ahead, we are excited to further expand our services with the launch of Wagner RxCare Clinic in late 2026.

This pharmacist-led clinic represents the next evolution of our mission—bringing clinical care directly into the pharmacy setting. By combining medication expertise with hands-on patient care, Wagner RxCare Clinic will offer:

• Chronic disease management

• Medication optimization and therapy management

• Preventive care and health screenings

• Point-of-care testing and treatment
